We're Looking for a Few (More) Good Coaches
Note to potential applicants: Thank you for your
interest in Coach Derek Inc. We have hired all the coaches we needed
for the Summer session. If you are still interested in joining our
team, we will be hiring in late July for the Fall Session. We will
be looking for candidates that are available year round, not just
seasonally. If you are interested in this please email us in July
and we will invite you to an interview.
Please review the minimum requirements of this position to confirm
you are an eligible candidate. We primarily teach Soccer, T-ball and
Basketball- You should have a basic foundation of how these sports
are played and taught. We also teach football, if that is your sport.
You need experience working with children, preferably ages 2-8.

Coach Derek Inc. is looking for fun and
outgoing people who have experience playing sports - but we
don't necessarily need uber-athletes. Enjoying kids and having
experience working with kids IS mandatory, however. We teach
year-round classes for boys and girls ages 2-14 from Playa Vista
to Palos Verdes and many places in between. If you meet the

Minimum Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Legal to work in the US
- Valid Driver's License- (No more then 2 moving violations
with in the last 2 years)
- Reliable transportation
- No Criminal Record
- Coaching experience or experience playing sports: Soccer,
T-ball, Basketball, Tennis, volleyball, Football (able to
teach or play at least 2 of these sports)
- Experience working with children ages 2-14 (Primarily age
2-8)
- Available 9-2 or 2:30-6 Monday-Saturday (Available at least
3 days)
- Pass random drug tests
- Most classes are in the South Bay (Better if applicant
lives within 30 minutes of the South Bay)
- Has reliable access to the internet and a printer
- Has a working cell phone
- Good personal hygiene
- Committed to being on time
- Athletic Clothes
